I will have to read that book you mentioned. It will probably add even that much more fuel to the fire. This book made me so thankful that my Emma's first mother was and continues to be supported by her parents. I will definitely add this book to Emma's bookshelf when she gets older. She continues to see her first mom twice a year, but I want her to know deep down what E experienced. I just could not believe Meredith's parents. My blood pressure is starting to rise again...

I will have to read Pride and Prejudice again now that I'm older.

Wow. It sounds like a very moving book. Your reaction was similar to mine when I read The Girls Who Went Away: The Hidden History of Women Who Surrendered Children for Adoption in the Decades Before Roe v. Wade . Now, let me know if it changes your perception of Pride and Prejudice. Poor Georgiana. Poor Lydia.
