Oh I didn't realise Weir wrote fiction as well as non-fiction. I remember reading a book that explored Elizabeth's memory of her mother. Can't remember the name of it. Also would like to see an image of the miniature picture of Anne Boleyn that Elizabeth wore as a necklace/ring (?)

You know, this would have been a much more intriguing book if the relationship between father and daughter was its only focus. Given Weir's talent, I know that the scene where Elizabeth learns of her father's death could have been just as vivid and compelling as the last scene in Innocent Traitor.

As I really enjoyed "The Queen's Fool", I suppose I'd feel the same way about those scenes. I think I'll still add it to my TBR pile for the 'father/daughter relationship' part that you enjoyed :) Thanks for your review.
