   5 I speak in public once in awhile. The best advice someone gave me once is to just pretend you are talking to one person. Anyone can talk to one person right? Palin is a good speaker. I just wish she’d lay off the “you betchyas” and the “joe sixpack” references. Makes her look “cupi’ish”. Reply to this comment.

   6 She’s a good speaker until you look at the transcript to see what she actually said! I’m sure you will be much more articulate and well-informed. =) I’d be very nervous too, I’m atrocious at public speaking. Whatever helps you focus and keep calm is best. Good luck! Reply to this comment.

    12 I hope your talk went well. Bad eyesight helps a lot. I spoke in front of a crowd that large and while I was speaking, someone in the back had this huge epileptic seizure and a bunch of people had to carry the guy off. I saw some sort of commotion but it was all a big blur, so I didn’t pay attention and was able to keep talking! Reply to this comment.
