Mailbox Monday ~ 02.09.09

mailbox1
After the Zappos.com excitement from my previous Mailbox Monday post, last week was a light book week. This is good, because if there was a deluge every week, I could not keep deluding myself that I’m ever going to be completely on top of my ARCs. :) Here’s what I found in my mailbox over the past seven days:

Go with Me by Castle Freeman from HarperCollins
Jane Austen Ruined My Life by Beth Pattillo from Phenix & Phenix

I also bought a copy of The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank.  I am reading this as part of my War Through the Generations Reading Challenge.  I considered getting this from the libary, but I’m sure this is something that my daughters will be reading someday.

What goodies did you find in your mailbox this week?

Diary of a Young Girl is a great book that all kids should read at some point. Great purchase.

Jane Austen Ruined My Life sounds interesting. Happy Reading.

This is the first Monday in over a month that I didn’t get a book in the mail. Of course only regular mail has come so far, I could still get a delivery by UPS or Fed Ex or Purolator or that other one I can never remember the name of.

Anyways for some reason I usually get book(s) on Mondays!

This book is exactly like it’s cousin Cows Can’t Jump except it’s about animal sounds instead of what animals can do.

The Jane Austen book sounds good – I’ve seen a review recently. I remember being amazed by the Diary of Anne Frank.

Thank you for stopping by the mailbox this week. I know you’ll enjoy the ‘breathing room’ with only 3 books this week.
