After what I can only call an overwhelming response to my Book Giveaway Carnival, I have had a wonderful time tabulating everyone’s entries. There were 179 entries and a little over 120 unique comments. Each entry made me happy and I can’t tell you how much I appreciated all of your kind comments. I wish I had the time and energy to make bookmarks for every one. Since I can’t, I decided to go ahead anyway and select 25 winners. The magic number 250 wasn’t reached, but since I got well over the 40 or 50 entries I had hoped for, it’s all good.
I’ve also decided that with 25 winners I will allow two members a month to select a book. That will leave one member at the end who did not win a book. That member will win something, but I’m not sure what yet. I’ll let that be a surprise. It could be wonderful, or it could be the donkey behind the door on Let’s Make a Deal. 
To select the winners, I selected 30 numbers between 1 and 179. Since I had many people with more than one entry, I wanted to account for duplicates. I went down those numbers in order and needed every one of those extra numbers to come up with the following list of 25 members of my first annual Bookmark It Bookmark of the Month Club members (yes, I’ll be doing this again next year for those of you who did not win this time around).
