    14 I jsut found your blog a few months ago via another book blog but cant’ remember which. I’m glad that “reading” brought you back to a greater level of happiness. It’s great to think that a book can equal Paxil. Not that it’s a joking matter of course, it’s not. I’ve had boughts of depression myself. I think finding a focus, a purpose, something else to concentrate on that you love certainly can and does help. I’m also an avid reader and I think books do heal. Reply to this comment.

I started reading again in 2006 after I switched jobs and suddenly found that I had more time on my hands.     19 Wow! That’s an amazing video. I’m a fellow Michigander as well (grew up in Gaylord), and my hubby was a yooper. I just wanted to say that not only does your blog spread joy to other people, but so do the things you do for others. Whenever I open a book that has one of your bookmarks you sent me in it, it automatically brings me a sense of happiness. I look forward to receiving those, and I treasure them.
