Em & Ally ~ My Hot Dogs

Em & Ally ~ My Hot Dogs

The very first thing I wanted to do for Dog Days of Summer week is to highlight the dogs and, when necessary (ha!) other family members on a hot summer day.  I asked my daughters to pretend they were dogs outside on a hot day, and this is what they came up with.  Thankfully, the photos submitted by my readers are adorable and 100% less pathetic than mine. LOL!  Special thanks to Elisabet, Serena, Jen, and Tobi for submitting their pics.

I’ve posted the pictures here on my Dog Days tab.  Please go there to view the pictures of Baby, Charlee, Hershey, Nestle, and Lola.  Then, vote for your favorite below.  You can help your favorite puppy win his family one of the following prizes:

First Prize: A brand-new copy of the Dog Days of Summer book of your choice & a handmade Dog Days of Summer bookmark
Second Prize: Copy of “Marley & Me” book & a Dog Days of Summer bookmark
Third Prize: Dog Days of Summer bookmark

In case you can’t read Nestle’s caption in the poll, it says: hose me down!  I apologize for it not being very readable with that background, but I had to go with it because of my summer theme this week.

I was just as tired as Charlee on that hike. He and I were in the rear, and he just sat down on my feet and told me he wasn’t going any further. But I wasn’t about to carry him myself! LOL

I loved all the pics. And your girls…they are precious.

                          Go, Charlee, go.

I would have had my dog Dakota in here, but sometimes I’m a little slow on the draw.
