Suzie, my sister’s mother-in-law, fell ill on Monday. It turns out she had a brain aneurysm that required cranial surgery. She survived the day-long surgery on Tuesday, where they found and repaired two aneurysms. As of this morning, Suzie couldn’t open her right eye and had other paralysis on that side, but she was stable. Since then, things have taken a turn for the worse. She has started hallucinating and after she attempted to pull out her wires and tubes, they have heavily sedated her and have restrained her. They are no longer allowing anyone to be with her in the ICU. I can only imagine how devastating that must be.
Suzie is the mother of 3 grown children, but she also has a young son who hasn’t started high school yet. She has four grandchildren, the oldest of whom is four. I would so appreciate any prayers for her and her family.

I’ll keep her in my thoughts– her family too, as they go through this with her.
Oh my gosh Jennifer, this is awful! I will definitely keep her and her family in my thoughts.
I am so sorry this happened. I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.
Oh what sad news. I’ll keep Suzie and her family in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you so much, everyone. I really appreciate it. I know that my sister’s family does, too.
Oh no, that is horrible. I worked with a lady that had this happen. It is so sudden, that it is hard to get your head around it. I do remember that my friend went through rough times…hallucinations, eyesight issues, etc…but eventually pulled out of it and came back to work, almost as good as new. I will say many prayers for her. God bless her.
Sandy, thank you for the encouraging thoughts. It’s good to know that your co-worker came back to work.
I’ll be certain to include this in my prayers.
Sheri
I am very sorry to hear that it’s happened to your sister’s family and her mom-in-law. I have said a prayer already and will keep on praying so everything can turn out for the better. *hugs*
You’ve got it. On a positive note, if they hadn’t found what they did, the damage may have been much worse. I will keep everyone in my thoughts.

Thank you Jennifer, for posting a prayer request. Thank you to all who have commented and prayed for someone whom you do not even know. It is overwhelming. I appreciate the prayers so much, and more importantly, my mother-in-law is only getting through this because she knows those prayers are out there. All my love, The Sister
