Great first vlog. I must admit I thought you had black hair though because of your header. It's funny, no one ever looks how I picture them. They are always completely opposite. I could never do a vlog I don't think. Well first of all I don't have webcam or anything but also I'm too self conscious.

One little hint though, when you want to show us the cover of a book, please hold it up longer. They kept flashing by, most of the time I couldn't see it all and sometimes I only saw part of it.

As a reader of your blog it is so nice to see you and hear your voice! So I'm sending you many greetings from Austria, I live quite close to Vienna actually! I have also picked up both Donna Tartt novels at a sale, but haven't read any of them. Of course I also love library sales and am so looking forward to the warmer season now because of all the boxes full of books on the fleamarkets here. Hope to see more of you soon! Doris

Well HELLO Jennifer! So nice to see ya! That was really great. I enjoyed listening to your reading of the prologue for The Secret History. I have had The Little Friend on my shelf in three different houses. Maybe I should finally get to that this year?! LOL!
I just donated three recycle grocery bags full of books to my local library here in Prince William County today. It felt great and now I'm on Hubby to go through his books and give me a stack to donate for him too.

Loved your blog! And I love the library sales and have blogged about them myself. I can't believe the treasures I have found for 25 cents each...it is unbelievable. I feel so good when I make my purchases because I have gotten a tremendously good deal on my books AND the library has gained some much needed money!

I love your vlog! Our library doesn't sell books that cheap - the ones that I want are at least $5. I'm going to try to get you to say sapling the next time I see you!

Thanks everyone! I had a good time doing this and used some time before the family got home in the evening to fit it in. I did get my hair colored and cut that day and I thank you for your compliments. LOL!

Nicole, I'm so glad you liked The Secret History! I can't tell you how happy I was to find that little gem. It doesn't look like it was ever read.

Jackie, isn't it nice to get to hear the voices of bloggers you read regularly?

Meghan, thanks so much! If you get to a point where you'd like to read The Secret History, let me know. I'd love to try another read-along. It sounds like Kay might like to join us, too. :) No pressure, though. Regarding the reading, maybe that's a little something I can incorporate into each of my vlogs. The first little bit of whatever it is I'm currently reading. That would be fun - and if I practiced beforehand, I might even stumble through it less. LOL!

Unfinished, becoming a Friend of the Library here brings me the same early bird book sale benefit. I cannot wait until the next sale!

Sandy and Rhapsody, thanks so much! I hope to do one a month at the very least. I think it's kind of fun.

Kay, I wonder what other words I say wrong. Maybe we'll find some more in my next vlog. LOL!

Ti, I think you'd look just fine after the kids go to bed. That's when I'll most likely do most of mine.
