(or How I Prepared for the Read-a-Thon)
This mini challenge is all about getting ready for today. If you’re participating, you can easily be successful. I know that it’s been a long day at this point. Easy is good, right?
What Do I Have to Do?
To enter this mini challenge, answer the questions below by 1am EST and fill out the form at the bottom of this post. If you don’t blog, that’s okay. Just use the space provided to answer the questions.
What’s My Motivation?
I know you’re all heading into the 17th hour. You’re tired. You need a good reason to do anything other than drool and keep on reading. So how’s this for a little motivation to take part?
All those who participate in my “Get the Heck Out of Here” mini challenge will be entered in a random drawing for A COMPLETE SET OF STIEG LARRSON’S MILLENIUM TRILOGY! You read that right. The complete trilogy. I have a mass market paperback copy of both The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire. I also have in my possession an unread ARC of the last book in the series, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. Even if you’ve already read the first two books, winning this min challenge would mean having a copy of the last book more than a month ahead of publication in the United States. What do you have to lose?
The Questions:
Here’s what we all want to know:
- What steps did you take to ensure you’d be able to read as much as possible today?
- Of those steps, which proved to be the most beneficial to your day?
- Is there anything you might do differently next time?
The last step is to fill out the Google Form below. You must either provide a URL or answer the questions in the space provided in order to successfully be entered in my drawing. I will not include any entries after 1AM EST. Good luck!
