I Admit I’ve Got Nothing

It’s nearly 11pm on Sunday night. I do not have a review written to post. It feels necessary to post on Mondays, so I thought I’d write a post about what I’ve been thinking about lately. Well, an hour into that post and I realized it wouldn’t be done in time to get enough sleep leading into my work week (I hate having to be responsible sometimes). That will come later this week. Instead, I’m posting this picture from my 40th Birthday extravaganza to the Bahamas.  Trista (my very best friend and camerawoman) and I are on a boat on either heading to or returning from our excursion to a private island (where we reclined in hammocks to read, took a short dip in the ocean, and hunted pretty shells on the beach). The wind might be whipping our hair in our faces, but that moment screams pure bliss to me. Trust me, I’ll be thinking about this today to get me through the Mondays.

How do you survive the Mondays?

To be honest, I’m doing a tropical vacation countdown right now that will get me through a few more Mondays before we finally get to go. I’ll have to be sure and get a picture of a moment of pure happiness to get me through the Mondays after that! :)

I love this photo! You guys both look so incredibly happy and wow – that day sounds like heaven to me.

The beginning of your post sounds like me last night. I just didn’t have it in me to sit down and write after working on an editing job much of the last week (and more on the horizon). So I put my pjs on and read, even though I should have been sleeping.

Today the only thing getting me through is the Coke I bought. I rarely drink them these days, but it was a necessity. I see a nap in my future….

Hope your day is going ok. :)

What a fun way to fill a day that you don’t have a review for :) (I run into those days often lately – with this slump!!)

I’ve never done a tropical vacation – but I could really use one!
