Giveaway ~ Heading out to Wonderful

One of my absolute favorite novels of 2012 was Heading Out to Wonderful by Robert Goolrick. I had the opportunity to meet him and have him sign my copy of the book at BEA in June. I had loved A Reliable Wife so much that I couldn’t wait to read this book. It most definitely lived up to my expectations.

Heading Out to Wonderful is now available in paperback from Algonquin Books. As much as I treasure my signed hardcover copy, I must admit that I love this cover. It captures the mood of this book so perfectly. I think this novel would make a great selection for book clubs. The characters are complex and their relationships provide so much to discuss. I still think regularly about Charlie and Sam’s friendship. If you’re a book club member or not, now is the time to read this book if you haven’t already.
