Just a quick note to say hello.
I finished up my Lean Six Sigma Green Belt class yesterday and scored 100 on my test. Now I have to complete a project at work and I’ll officially be a Green Belt.
I started reading NOS4A2 by Joe Hill yesterday. I am very much prepared for the heebie jeebies. It will be fun, though. I think. LOL!
In Armchair Audie news, I listened to the first 3 and a half hours of Remember Ben Clayton for the Literary Fiction category and the last two times I listened I was almost lulled into sleep while I drove. Since all of the other audiobooks I’ve listened to in that category have been better, I decided to not finish it. I couldn’t have cared any less about the story. I will say that George Guidall has a nice reading voice. There was just no excitement whatsoever. Yesterday I started listening to Heft, which will be my last listen in the category. It is the only audiobook in the category with two narrators. It’s been interesting thus far although the narrator for the teenage baseball player isn’t as compelling as Arthur Opp’s narrator.
Finally, I woke this morning to the April issue of the Bloggers Recommend newsletter. Looking through the eclectic list of books made me so proud to be a part of it. If you don’t happen to subscribe to the newsletter, you can take a peak here. Please do subscriber, though. You can do that on the sidebar on the Bloggers Recommend website.
Happy Easter to all those who celebrate!
