APA Announces 2017 Audiobook Blogger of the Year Contest

For the third year in a row, the Audio Publishers Association (APA) has announced their Audiobook Blogger of the Year contest. As the first recipient in 2015, I can tell you first hand that winning this contest was the highlight of my blogging career and definitely one of the most exciting experiences of my life. My best friend Trista came with me to New York. We saw a few sights, got our hair blown out, and met so many wonderful narrators before the event even started. I am so glad I had the opportunity to announce the winners of two Audie categories. (Don’t worry – they give you the correct envelopes at the Audies!).

I’m sure I’ve probably shared this picture from the after party before, but I will always treasure this picture with Simon Vance. Getting a picture like this with your favorite narrator is worthy sharing a million times, right?

I am so glad that I entered the first contest. I knew that my blogging wasn’t as extensive as it had been in the past when they announced the contest. Thank goodness I didn’t let that get in my way. You can find all of the details on the APA’s website. If you love blogging about audiobooks, enter this content!!! Candace from Beth Fish Reads, the 2016 Audiobook Blogger of the Year, and I are looking forward to expanding our ranks.
